When I went through my wishlist on Goodreads earlier this week (to remove some books because I finally broke down and bought them!), I noticed that a lot of the listed covers had changed. And for the most part, I wasn't pleased with the changes. But maybe it's just me. Anywhoodle, here is one that changed: The Dark and Hollow Places, 3rd book in the Forest of Hands and Teeth books. I was a little torn about it. I do have a definite favorite, but I see where they're going with the change, and I don't totally hate it. In fact, if this was the first I'd ever seen for the series, I'd probably call it striking and memorable, but now, after being a fan of the series and the covers, it just doesn't quite hold the same power for me. But I want to know what you think.
Which one did it better?

But the week before that, Unearthly faced off against itself. I'm still a little torn myself, but the answer to you all seemed pretty clear. You loved the red dress. Though two of you did make some pretty good points in favor of the blue dress: Velvet said "the red makes it look vampire-ish" and Casey said "I can't help but wonder why she's facing the forest fire in a gown?" Good question!
