Cover Reveal/Coming Attraction: Scarlet

Holy ish.
This is easily one of my most anticipated books right now. SO READY.  Come on, February...
Who else is panting to get their hands on this?

Scarlet by Marissa Meyer
(The Lunar Chronicles, book 2)
464 pages
Expected publication: February 5th 2013 by Feiwel and Friends
There's no official synopsis yet, but what we do know is:
Book two, Scarlet, is based on Little Red Riding Hood. It continues Cinder’s story as she attempts to escape Queen Levana’s vengeance and learn more about her past. The story also introduces readers to Scarlet, a girl living in southern France whose grandmother has mysteriously disappeared. In order to find her, Scarlet seeks the help of Wolf, a street fighter with more than a few mysteries of his own.

Also, you can check out an excerpt of Scarlet, and an interview about the series with Marissa, here on USA Today's Book Buzz!

  2. I ADORED the first book and cannot wait for this one! I like this cover, but I definitely prefer the cover of Cinder, purely because of the cyborg foot! EEP!

I am really eager to see where this story goes. I really liked Cinder, but I definitely think Mayer can do even better, and I'm really hopeful to see that happen. I want Scarlet to be a five star book!
