  1. I don't know if it's because of the way YOU talked about it, but I now find myself wanting to read All These Things I've Done. You have succeeded in tempting me when others have not. Congrats XD

And now I'm all interested in The Fool's Girl. Instant TBR addition.

  2. I loved ATTID! Anya is so jaded and sort of world-weary, and the world is interesting and dark, and even thought the concept can be a bit silly (chocolate = drug cartels) it all just works.

If you read it, let me know what you think!

  4. I don't know if it's back in print (though I'm thinking yes, as I saw a new cover I hadn't seen before when I linked to Amazon), but a used copy that was in excellent condition popped up on BWB so I snatched it!

  5. I loved ATTID as well. Anya is a great character and like you I loved that the book can't be pigeon-holed into to one main genre. It futuristic, but then kinda reminds of those days with detectives in long coats and a lot of corruption.

    Everything sounds great enjoy!

  6. YAY! :D You finally got the Keturah cover you wanted! :D That makes me very happy! :D I SO hope you like it as much as I do! :)

And I got the ATTID/BIIMB package too. I've been wanting to read ATTID, but haven't yet, so... Now I shall! :P

  7. Misty!! I really enjoyed All These Things I've Done! I'll admit I don't like the cover change THAT much, but since the cover was different for Australia anyway, I probably won't see that change for myself. I'll be looking forward to what you have to say for The Fool's Girl. I was a bit unsure about giving it a go because of those mixed reviews, but I'm a fan of historical fiction (& retellings), so...yeah. Happy reading! And happy fortune telling. :)

    Here's my book haul.

  8. I don't know about all the others but "Keturah and Lord Death" is one of those unusual reads that gets under your skin. A gem.
