IMM: May

I don't have time to do an IMM vlog because I am in the midst of (sort of, maybe) organizing for the Jane in June shenanigans, but I do want to tell you about the greatfantabulous books I got this month.  If I have a sane moment in the coming weeks, I may pop back in and do a vlog, but for now, here's the list...
[also, I know I keep saying I am going to buy fewer books every month, and so far that hasn't happened -- and I'm NOT going to say that for June, I'm not even going to THINK it, because that would be a lie -- I'm going to ALA, and I damn well better come home well-laden with books.  So look for another big IMM at the end of June, and THEN I am going to ease up.  Really...]

  1. ooo...I've been curious about the Remarkable Life and Times of Eliza Rose for a long time, I hope its good!

If you haven't read Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging you are in for a treat...that series is fantastic. Sooooo funny.

That is one loooong list my friend. Way to go.

  2. Misty--you're going to be good and busy...just wanted to point out that my collection of stories is Intimations of Austen, with an "n" and not Imitations...I would never presume so much :)

    Happy reading.

  3. Oh god I LOVED ATaFFS. I think that it was the best of the series. My Sister's Keeper made me cry but it was SO good, and Anastasia's Secret looks like it's going to be a great read.
    Happy Reading!

  4. I've been wanting to read eliza rose!! can't wait to hear what you think!

  5. Great mailbox...you got A LOT of great books! I recently read and reviewed Anastasia's Secret and I liked it.

  10. Loved, loved, loved EAST. It was my first foray into that fairy-tale. And just the other day, I was talking about The Thirteenth Tale. A great read. Definitely reminded me of Jane Eyre in a way with its secrets and stuff.

  11. Great book month! :) Happy reading!

  12. I'm slowly making my way through all my google reader stuff after being away for two weeks. But you're going to ALA?!? I just found out I'm going...like yesterday. Maybe we can see each other then? :)

Let's be best friends.
