August TBR vlog (now with linky!)

Here is my TBR (to be read) stack for August.   I had a (Mean Girl) request to include a linky for yall to share what you plan to read this month, so if you're interested, link up your blog post or vlog after the video!
(And if you're interested, here's a look back at how I did for July)

The Stack:
The Darlings Are Forever by Melissa Kantor
Once Butt Cheek at a Time by Amber Kizer
7 Kinds of Ordinary Catastrophes by Amber Kizer
Dark Parties by Sara Grant
Witch Song by Amber Argyle
Tomorrow Girls: Behind the Gates by Eva Gray
Breadcrumbs by Anne Ursu
The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

The Maybes:
Heartless by Gail Carriger
The Summer I Learned to Fly by Dana Reinhardt
Sweetly by Jackson Pearce

  1. I don't know if I've mentioned this to you or not...but you should read Anna and the French Kiss. (ha. what I really mean is...for the effing five hundredth time Misty, READ IT! <3)

I hope you're liking Dark Parties better than I did. I wasn't a fan. At all.

Oo...I like the Summer trilogy! Hope you do too. Do you have the other two or just The Summer I Turned Pretty?

  2. Dark Parties looks interesting. I'll be curious to hear what you think of it. Also, if you wind up liking The Summer I Turned Pretty, I may bump it up on my TBR pile, because there are a lot of positive reviews out there, but few from people who's opinion I consistently trust.

And YAY ANNA! I sincerely hope you get the chance to read it this month. SO GOOD!

  3. I just have the first, Allison. A friend sent it to me after she went to the signing. If I like it, I'll probably get the others.

And yeah, I saw that you didn't rate Dark Parties very highly. I'm ... middle of the road on it at the moment.

  4. I'm a new follower- your August TBR looks really fun! I need to make mine; maybe it will help me stay more organized!

  5. I like the idea of an August to be read idea and I really want to read some of the books you mentioned. I'll wait to see what your review is in September ^^

Tell me all your thoughts.
Let's be best friends.
