  1. I really enjoyed Crocodile on the Sandbank and went on to read quite few of the books in the series, but I still think this is one of the best.

The Heart is a Lonely Hunter is an absolutely fabulous book--I can't believe it took me so long to get around to reading it.

    Enjoy your new books.

  2. I loooove the Wrinkle in Time books! is this your first time reading them?

  3. Jane - I read The Heart is a Lonely Hunter a couple of years ago and enjoyed it, so when I saw it, I picked it up.

Bookish - No, I haven't read them! I know a lot of kids when I was younger loved them, but the class that I was in read it just before I moved there, so I never read them. A lot of people have been recommending them to me lately, and I got a great deal on them, so I thought, why not?

  4. Looks like you have some amazing reading in your future. Stopping by to let you know that I've awarded you one of those crazy blog awards. You can see it here http://myneuroticbookaffair.blogspot.com/2010/08/my-lovely-blog-award.html
    Have a great week, Shari
