To say I've been in a slump is an understatement, but I'm trying to get back on track by letting go of some of the bookish deadweight and getting on with a new TBR (of sorts). Wish me luck!

If you interested in being part of Austen in August, check out this post!

The Darkest Lie
The Trouble to Check Her
The Possibility of Somewhere
Vassa in the Night
Mighty Jack
Something New

Also Mentioned:
Mistaking Her Character

Disclosure: This is NOT a sponsored video. Many of these books were sent to me for review consideration purposes.

  1. It's so hard to balance reading obligation with reading desire, and get through the slump of "I don't wanna". I think you're going the right route by giving yourself the freedom to drop, change, etc.
What normally gets you excited to read a book? Reading along with others? A good synopsis? A fluffy/silly book to break things up?

  2. Those book slumps where you can't settle on one and finish it are so irritating. I was that way for only a little while back in May and it was enough. I think you're already doing the right thing by going to the books that interest you right now. Yay for comics!

Oh, and just so you know, Nevernight is an adult book. Don't want you to get a big shocker there. ;)

Tell me all your thoughts.
Let's be best friends.
