Atmospheric Autumn Reading Recommendations!

Although I firmly believe you should read whatever you want, whenever you want, I can't deny that certain books just say 'FALL' to me...

FEATURING:
We Have Always Lived in the Castle
The Accident Season
Daughter of Smoke and Bone
The Replacement
The Lost
Blood & Salt

  2. I enjoy the feeling atmosphere when I think of Autumn, too. The Accident Season is on my shelf and I need to get busy and read it.

I'd love some more Fall reading recommendations, too.

  3. Your hair and makeup are giving me hearteyes!

YES to atmospheric (really, any time...I read The Winter People last winter and that was a great atmospheric one, though most of McMahon's books are). I also recommend The Telling by Alexandra Sirowy, for that.
The Accident Season definitely! Most of these are on my list, but I'm stoked that The Lost is on my shelves, so I can read it next. YAY! Thanks! :D More recs, please. Some of my best reads have been recs from you.

Have you read Among Others by Jo Walton? I think you'd like it. It's slow, but in a building, atmospheric way, and also genre-bending delightful.
