Workshop in Italy and Awesomeosity of Epic Proportions

I know I've been talking your ear off about Fairy Tale Fortnight, but hey, you still have 1 other ear, so hold still a minute while I begin talking that one off for you...

Basically, I can't even explain the level of awesome Ashley and I are going to be bringing to you.  To say it's ridiculous is ridiculous.  And that is due in large part to the generosity and willingness of the authors who have agreed to be a part of the event.

One of these authors  isDonna Jo Napoli, who has written more retellings than I can shake a stick at (but I wouldn't.  Shake a stick at them, that is).  You will definitely be seeing some reviews of her works during the event from Ashley and I, and maybe, just maybe a holymolymassive giveaway of Epic Awesome.
Just saying.

She emailed Ashley last week, asking for help, and Ashley and I were more than willing to add our voices to hers.

Basically, this summer, Donna will be  teaching a  writing workshop in Italy for the Siena School of Liberal Arts, which is a non-profit organization that provides significant outreach to the elderly, immigrants, and the deaf community.Donna has agreed to teach this workshop without pay because she truly supports their cause and wants to assist them in anyway possible.

Donna is hoping to raise awareness of both the workshop and the organization. She also wants this workshop to be a success. But for it to really be successful, it needs participants. The workshop will be in Siena, Italy this May and is suitable for writers just beginning their career, or those who have already been published.   If you click on the workshop link above, you'll see that it's kind of an  incredible offer, AND you get to feel awesome for being part of a great organization (not to mention that you get to workshop with Donna Jo Napoli IN ITALY. I mean, come on!)

But, because it's definitely not something that everyone is going to be able to participate in, there is also the option to donate something to their cause. They are a non-profit organization, which means they exist on Government assistance and donations from others who appreciate what they stand for.  We all know these types of organizations can always use a little help.

Let's help these great organizations stay alive!
