Think you know paranormal romance? Alex Flinn gives the genre a twist in this modern fairy-tale mash-up!
Johnny’s not your average hero. But a little magic changes everything. There isn’t a fairy godmother or any of that. It all starts with a curse. And a frognapping. And one hot-looking princess. And before Johnny knows it, he is on a mission in the Everglades, with only a flock of swans and a talking fox named Joe to help guide him against the forces of an evil witch.
I'm in the mood for a good fairy tale at the moment, so I've got my eyes on this one. In fact, I'm so in the mood for a good fairy tale that I have a fairy tale even coming up, Fairy Tale Fortnight, and I'm going to try to work this in, along with Flinn's popular Beastly. This sounds like an interesting shake up to the usual, and potentially a good bit of quirky fun. And such a beautiful, simple cover. ♥ it.

I'm really intrigued by these fairy tale retellings. I've heard great things about this author. Can't wait for your event!
ReplyDeleteI loved Beastly.
ReplyDeleteI've read this one! I thought it was okay, albeit not amazing. I wasn't the biggest fan of the main character. However, I am going to give Beastly a chance.
