However, I still have it which means I enjoyed it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2790614306320534072.post-20170002558456237282011-06-14T20:08:37.745-04:002011-06-14T20:08:37.745-04:00I haven't read it yet but it's on my list....I haven't read it yet but it's on my list. I enjoyed her book Mr Darcy Broke My Heart, so I'm reasonably confident I'd like this one, as well. My tbr list is shorter now than it has been in awhile, which isn't saying much because it's still ridiculously long. The next Austen adaptation I'm hoping to make time to read is Abigail Reynolds' Morning Light.MonicaPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15059381106713282439noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2790614306320534072.post-86192748634346489102011-06-14T20:03:07.867-04:002011-06-14T20:03:07.867-04:00This comment has been removed by the author.MonicaPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15059381106713282439noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2790614306320534072.post-32128708616658027522011-06-14T16:27:51.748-04:002011-06-14T16:27:51.748-04:00I haven't read this yet but it sounds good to ...I haven't read this yet but it sounds good to meSassyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02714875243218009267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2790614306320534072.post-6358749045182343762011-06-14T14:53:29.943-04:002011-06-14T14:53:29.943-04:00I did indeed read Jane Austen ruined my life. What...I did indeed read Jane Austen ruined my life. What I liked most about this novel... It was like following in the footsteps of Jane Austen as she lived her life. I saw places where she lived and visited. It was a different way of viewing England.
It's like Chic Lit on an Austen fieldtrip. :)phastingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12651039555553961226noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2790614306320534072.post-2146082557788843912011-06-14T11:52:15.133-04:002011-06-14T11:52:15.133-04:00I've been itching to read this.I've been itching to read this.Tales of Whimsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10938494589922620170noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2790614306320534072.post-74221866315222616692011-06-14T03:09:46.818-04:002011-06-14T03:09:46.818-04:00I read this 2 years ago when it came out. At that ...I read this 2 years ago when it came out. At that time, it was a gem because I have just started reading Austen-related sequels, spin-offs and modern adaptation and I really love the premise of the novel. It is quite a fresh perspective infusing Austen elements with contemporary fiction. I find this novel is better than its sequel, Mr. Darcy Broke My Heart.Lúthien84https://www.blogger.com/profile/15390711363301378521noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2790614306320534072.post-52845828735975245212011-06-14T02:58:28.674-04:002011-06-14T02:58:28.674-04:00It sounds familiar, but I've never read it.
