Thanks for the recommendations- I'm relieved that several of those are already on my shelf and wishlist, because I was nervous about adding 50 books to my library to-check-out list (it's already 410 books long). :)Beth Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01898921671895123053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2790614306320534072.post-15285620191588585102015-01-12T19:36:30.896-05:002015-01-12T19:36:30.896-05:00What struck me was that I had really only read two...What struck me was that I had really only read two of your long list- Mr. Darcy Broke My Heart and Grave Mercy, but they were reads from earlier. That said, several of those are books that I do want to read. I enjoyed several this year including a few NA authors like Christina Lee and KA Tucker. Jeannie Lin's first Steampunk which was set in China, Gunpowder Alchemy and even her Tang dynasty Romantic Suspense, the Jade Temptress was fab. My UF surprise love was Cecy Robson's Weird Girls and of course Patricia Briggs' latest Mercy Thompson and Darynda Jones' Charley Davidson. I explored some historical mystery with Mary Hart Perry's The Shadow Princess (blurb had Jack the Ripper mentioned and I was there) and Deanna Raybourn's new roaring 20s adventures were fab. Straight up historical new fav is Elizabeth Loupas- love her Medici stuff. My Jane Austenish fixes that were fun or just good were Monica Fairview's Steampunk Darcy and Jane and the 12 Days of Christmas by Stephanie Barron. There were piles more that I adored and like you I had some real misses, but more hits.<br />Glad it was a good year of reading for you even if it got a bit squiggly toward the end.
