  1. Thank you for the generous gifts, Lona. I've not read Mansfield Park so I would like to ask is do I need to read the canon before taking a chance on A Contrary Wind?

  2. Hi! No, you don't need to because I provide a short synopsis of Mansfield Park at the beginning. There are a lot of characters to meet in the first chapter -- the Bertram family, a fiance, bossy Aunt Norris, lazy Lady Bertram, and their guests the Crawfords, but once you get the people sorted out, you'll be fine. The synopsis explains who's who.
