List of 2015 Austenesque Works, a guest post from Beth

We've had plenty of fun goodies from Beth this Austen in August, but today marks the last of her posts. (I mean, we've only got 3 days left. It had to happen sometime. . .) BUT, the good news is, Beth did a lot of legwork in rounding up all of the 2015 JAFF and Austenesque works she could find that are coming our way in 2015, WHICH MEANS, your to-read list just got a lot longer.
Click through to check them out, find some new ones that might be right up your alley, and if you know of any that didn't make the Beth didn't find for her list, leave them in the comments!

  1. I don't care for the many 'pride and prejudice' retellings, I know that's everyone's favorite austen work but other works deserve some praise as well, but it if I was looking for a list of 'pride and prejudice' retellings, this would be a great list.

    have a lovely day.

  2. Great list! I love lists :) Meredith over at Austenesque Reviews also has wonderful lists. She used to do annual ones but there are so many JAFF books now that it's unmanageable so she's been updating them for this year monthly. There are lists split down by Austen book: http://austenesquereviews.com/a-comprehensive-guide-to-austenesque-novels/by-jane-austen-novel

Though Pride & Prejudice is my favourite Austen work I agree that I'd like to see more based on her other works. I've been making an effort to read more of those as if you read too many based on P&P they can blur together.

  3. Sensational list, Beth. I got a bunch off your list I didn't know about. There are so many lovelies in that post. ;) Thanks so much for pulling it together.

Here's a couple for you: Jane Austen: Love Like a Rose by Andrew Norman, Jane by the Sea by Carolyn Murray, The Houseguest by Elizabeth Adams. I would second Ceri's suggestion about Meredith's lists, too.
