Because I'm about to descend into fairy tale madness, never to be seen or heard from again (except for when I'll be blowing up yo' feeds with fairy tales...), I thought I'd better go ahead and get this book haul up now.
Added some pretty awesome stuff to my shelves over the last month, and if you're curious about the non-bookish things I got for my birthday, let me know if you'd like me to cover them in my next vlog!

  1. Did you every have one of those days....ugh yes!

Very nice haul! I love your fairytale events b/c I always learn about books that I had no idea existed or that had a fairy tale connection. I have Sarah J. Mass' other series on my list to read too.

Lucky you to go to the signing. ;)

    1. There are a lot of books out there that use fairy tale tropes, or as inspiration, that you'd never guess until you start picking it apart. =)

  2. Rook is really good! It is set in a dystopian world technically but to me it felt more like a fantasy read then anything else. I really enjoyed it!. I have also read Hold Me Like a Breath and it is really good as well. I didn't realize that it was set after the Princess and the Pea but now that you say that I can defiantly see similarities!!! Can't wait to read A Court of Thorns and Roses I love Sarah J. Maas!!!!

  5. I read and quite enjoyed The Dark Unwinding by Sharon Cameron (have yet to read the sequel to it), and am definitely intrigued by the sound of Rook! I think it's at least loosely based on The Scarlet Pimpernel? Anyway, it sounds awesome :D
