OCTOBER BOOK HAUL

In which I break my not-ban on buying books, and go a little overboard with one in particular...

I know October's not over yet, but I'm not expecting more bookage, so thought I'd go ahead and share these lovelies. I did some fun things in October, and got some fun things from awesome people, so yay for these new additions! (And yes, I really did mean it when I said I wouldn't be really buying too many books for a bit... promise.)

THE BOOKS:
Exquisite Captive | Heather Demetrios
(also had Something Real signed)
The Jewel | Amy Ewing
Anatomy of a Misfit | Andrea Portes
Asylum | Madeleine Roux
Blackbird | Anna Carey
(also showed Eve)
Prickle Moon | Juliet Marillier
The Madness of Mr Darcy | Alexa Adams
Shadow Scale (!!!) | Rachel Hartman

    1. Slowly. I got talked into staying at my job longer than I'd intended, so even though my hours have been cut down, I still haven't left yet (have about 2 more weeks), AND THEN, pretty much the last day there is also the day that I have to start packing to move into my new house. Needless to say, things have been chaotic. But I'm going, slowly but surely. =D

  2. Petting, kissing, hugging and even smelling new books falls on the side of normal for a book lover. I'm happy for you even though I'm envious for me.

How cool to meet all the authors. I want to read Exquisite Captive too. The Madeline Roux's look tasty. Alexa kindly sent me her book for review too. I thought the theme was unique in Austenesque adaptions and variation stories too.

    Have fun reading those.
